Qualifications

How to Qualify

To qualify for EO, you must have a minimum of US$1M in annual gross sales and be the founder, co-founder, or controlling shareholder of the business.  There are additional qualifications for some types of businesses such as construction, real estate, insurance, family-owned businesses, franchises, etc. Click here for additional information if this would apply to you.

For venture-backed companies to qualify for membership they must have privately raised funds of US$2M or publicly raised funds of US$5M, and 10 full-time employees. Venture-backed companies have three years before they must meet the standard qualification of US$1M in gross annual revenue.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Click here to apply for EO. To be considered for membership, prospective EO members must attend an informational event, which are held twice during the Fall, and twice during the Spring. To be added to the invitation list, click here. Be prepared to also submit a short video or essay about why you wish to join EO and host a committee member or two for an on-site visit.

Within the first month, you will also receive an orientation to help you navigate all things EO. If accepted, you will gain access to Forum training and meetings, chapter and Global events, and a wide variety of other exclusive benefits. Within your first three months, you will also receive an orientation which will include a welcome package and introductory calls from Global staff.

FEES AND DUES

There is a one-time initiation fee of $5000, and annual membership dues are currently $4940.
